THE BEGINNING OF US
The beginning of a family is worth remembering—not only in the tiny details, but in the hands that held her, the people who loved her, and the story they began together. These portraits preserve the tenderness of those first days, creating artwork that reminds you just how deeply this little life was loved from the very beginning.
azucena
where dreams begin
Some newborn portraits are meant to feel like memories, while others feel like something from a dream. Azucena's story brings together soft textures, imaginative details, and a little bit of magic to create portraits that feel as unique as the little person they celebrate. These are the kinds of images that turn fleeting newborn moments into artwork you will never find anywhere else.

eithan
the tiniest days
There is something extraordinary about the simplicity of a newborn. The tiny fingers, sleepy expressions, soft curls, and impossibly small details that disappear far sooner than we expect. Eithan's portraits celebrate those quiet beginnings with timeless styling and gentle, classic imagery designed to become artwork your family can treasure long after these days have passed.

You hand me the details. I take care of the experience. You get to be present with your baby instead of worrying about what comes next. And together, we create artwork that preserves this beginning long after these tiny days have passed.
First you will inquire for your session, providing your contact information so that we can have a short chat on the phone. Your phone consultation is a chance for us to connect and thoughtfully plan your portrait experience. During this brief call, we’ll discuss your vision for your newborn session, answer any questions you may have, and walk through the full experience—from styling and session preparation to artwork options. It’s a relaxed conversation designed to ensure you feel confident, excited, and fully prepared for your session at On Cue Photography.
Your in-person design consultation takes place at the studio and lasts about an hour. During this time, we’ll plan the details of your session, review inspirational images you love, select colors, and look through the curated outfits from the studio wardrobe, picking several that you think you will love. We’ll also explore the heirloom artwork options available so you can begin envisioning how your portraits will be displayed and cherished in your home for generations.
Your newborn session at On Cue Photography is designed to be calm, safe, and completely guided. The studio is kept warm and peaceful while your baby is gently and safely posed using carefully selected wraps, textures, and props to create timeless portraits. The session moves at your baby’s pace, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and cuddles so we can capture beautiful, natural moments of your baby’s earliest days.
During your reveal and order appointment, you'll see your finished portraits for the first time. We'll view your images together and thoughtfully design the artwork you've chosen for your home, considering size, placement, finishes, and the way each piece will live within your space.
When your finished artwork arrives, I personally inspect every piece before it is packaged. I check the color, finish, craftsmanship, and every detail to make sure it meets the standards I expect for your finished artwork.
At your pickup appointment, we'll inspect your artwork together before I carefully package it for you to take home.
Then it's time for your portraits to come home.
Whether you've chosen a single statement piece or a collection of heirloom artwork, these aren't photographs meant to live in a drawer or on a hard drive. They're pieces created to be displayed, enjoyed, and become part of your family's story for years to come.
This is the moment your photographs become something you can hold, see, and enjoy every day.
Because your baby's safety should never be an afterthought
At On Cue Photography, newborn safety isn't simply a checklist or a paragraph in a contract. It is the foundation of every session.
Every baby is different, so every decision begins with one question:
Is this right for this baby, right now?
I follow your baby's cues rather than forcing a pose or rushing a moment. Feeding, comforting, repositioning, or taking a break will always matter more than getting the photograph.
My approach is grounded in dedicated newborn safety education, hands-on experience, CPR certification, and continued professional training. I carefully consider everything from the environment and temperature to positioning, transitions, and composite techniques when needed.
Beautiful portraits matter. Your baby's safety matters more.
The best time to reserve your newborn session is during your second trimester. Because On Cue Photography only accepts a limited number of newborns each month, booking early ensures availability around your due date.
Your newborn session is completely baby-led, which means there is no strict time limit. We allow the time your baby needs for feeding, soothing, cuddling, diaper changes, and safely settling into each setup. Some sessions move quickly, while others take longer. We simply follow your baby's lead.
Just bring baby, diapers, and feeding essentials. The studio is fully stocked with luxury wraps, textures, blankets, and styling pieces carefully curated for newborn portraiture.
Please have baby in a simple onsie that zips, doesn't go over the head. For the session: Most newborn portraits are created using studio wraps and styling pieces to keep the focus on your baby’s delicate features. We guide every step of the styling process so everything feels effortless.
Yes. Including parents and siblings is one of the most meaningful parts of a newborn session. These images capture the beginning of your family’s story together.
Your baby's safety is never secondary to getting the perfect photograph. Every pose and setup is approached slowly and intentionally, with your baby's comfort and physical support coming first.
I use safe posing practices, appropriate support, and composite techniques when an image requires a pose that cannot safely be created as a single photograph. Your baby is never forced into a position simply for the sake of an image, and we take as many breaks as needed for feeding, soothing, and comfort.
Beautiful portraits matter. Your baby's safety matters more.
Congratulations! Even if your baby has already arrived, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible. While most newborn sessions are photographed within the first 5–14 days, we occasionally have last-minute availability.
If baby is a little older, we can still create beautiful newborn-inspired portraits that capture your baby’s tiny features and your family’s first moments together. Availability is limited, so the sooner you inquire, the better chance we have of accommodating your session.
Newborn sessions are typically photographed within the first 5–14 days after birth. During this time babies are naturally sleepier and more easily posed into the soft, curled positions that create timeless newborn portraits.
Your session is reserved based on your due date, not a fixed day. Once your baby arrives, simply notify us and we will schedule your session within the ideal newborn window
Your portraits are carefully hand-edited after your session. Once your images are complete, you'll return for your private reveal and ordering appointment, where we'll view your portraits together and design your artwork. Because every image is individually finished by hand, please allow approximately two weeks for editing before your reveal.

Dania was so flexible and accommodated to our needs especially our newborns' needs (and boy was our newborn needy). She was professional yet down to earth. The photographs turned out beautiful, we are so glad we went with On Cue Photography, an investment we will always cherish. We highly recommend her!

Dania did an excellent job for our newborn. She is patient and works with you to get you best accomodated. She was honest about different types of arts and associated costs from the day we first connected with her. We really loved the photos/art she generated. I would highly recommend her newborn photography jobs.
Tell me a little about what you're envisioning, and I'll be in touch to help you plan your next step.
